Job Summary
Lead the primary play-by-play broadcasts for assigned athletic programs, including pregame, in-game, and postgame coverage, while producing compelling audio and digital content, hosting coaches' shows, and developing features to enhance fan engagement. Drive collaboration with affiliate stations, athletics personnel, and Learfield stakeholders to ensure high-quality broadcasts, integrate audio/video/digital and social media efforts, and support sponsorship activations. Oversee game-day broadcast operations, coordinate production crews, and assist with planning and logistics for broadcasts and special projects. Partner with sales and marketing teams to promote ticket sales and brand initiatives, contribute to content development for sponsor activations, and help strengthen relationships across university departments, Learfield, and partners. Lead and coordinate broadcast personnel and events, support annual planning and budgeting, and ensure compliance with policies and regulations. Requires a strong background in broadcasting, storytelling, and multimedia production, with the ability to balance live event duties and content creation in a fast-paced collegiate athletics environment.
Required Qualifications
- Five (5) or more years of play-by-play broadcasting experience at the NCAA Division I, professional sports, or equivalent level.
- Demonstrated experience producing live sports broadcasts, audio programming, and multimedia content.
- Experience creating content for digital and social media platforms.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and travel as required by athletic schedules.
