Job Summary
Coordinate the management of computerized property books, documents, and registers within DMLSS to facilitate the disposition of Army property. Monitor requisitioning of consumable and repairable assets, expediting material flow based on order-to-receipt timelines and special tool requirements. Forecast future material needs using historical data and PDM changes, while controlling movement via AMMIS, ALMIS, and barcode scanning to ensure traceability. Prepare disposition packages for excess supplies and administratively receive equipment for technical evaluations. Coordinate inventory dates, file property documentation, and manage custodian records. Assist the Government Accountable Property Officer and perform material receipting using forklifts and pallet jacks. Requires three years of logistics experience, a valid driver's license, and the ability to lift 50 pounds.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of one year experience using Asset Logistics Management Information System (ALMIS and/or AMMIS standard inventory and information systems.
- Have a valid Driver's License.
- Licensed and capable of operating lifting and material handling equipment to include forklifts, hand carts, and pallet jacks.
- Ability to lift and carry items that weigh about twenty-three (23) kilograms (fifty (50) pounds) with mechanical lifting devices or assistance from other workers.
- Minimum three (3) years of related logistics, supply, or property management experience.
- Experience supporting Government entities; Department of Army or DoD experience preferred.
- Ability to work with DMLSS and other Government logistics systems.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a NACI clearance and CAC.
- Ability to pass NCIC investigation and credit check in accordance with federal and contractual requirements.
- Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screening.
