Job Summary
Property Attendant on-site at InTown Suites in Norfolk, VA, responsible for maintaining a safe, quiet environment and serving as the emergency contact after office hours. Live on property during employment and follow the Terms of Guest Agreement. Essential duties include monitoring the property when the office is closed, reporting safety or security issues to the General Manager or authorities, assisting guests with needs and inquiries after hours, verifying IDs and providing access to rooms for locked-out guests, conducting nightly rounds and inspections, documenting incidents, and performing maintenance tasks as needed. The role involves on-call scheduling (five to six days per week), frequent rounds at night, and physical duties such as climbing ladders and lifting up to 100 lbs. Required Qualifications
- Ability to read, understand, and interpret information found in a variety of internal hotel information.
- Ability to read, speak, and write in an efficient manner to interact with guests and staff.
- Ability to self-supervise and work with limited supervision.
