Job Summary
Conduct nightly property inspections and secure storage areas, obtaining guest lists to verify authorized access. Respond to guest needs and complaints after hours while maintaining watch for safety issues, reporting incidents to the General Manager or authorities without interjecting. Verify guest IDs for lockouts and assist with minor maintenance, documenting all rounds and incidents on the checklist. Live on property and follow the on-call schedule, performing three to five rounds depending on property hours.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to read, understand, and interpret information found in a variety of internal hotel information
- Ability to read, speak, and write in an efficient manner to interact with guests and staff
- Ability to self-supervise and work with limited supervision
- Required to live on property during the term of employment
- Must not possess a firearm, or dangerous or deadly weaponry while on InTown property
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs and occasionally up to 100 lbs
- Must be able to climb and stand on ladders at heights of up to approximately 30 feet
- Must be able to stand and walk in crowded areas and in confined spaces
- Must be able to frequently walk at a quick pace, standing, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, bending, crouching and/or crawling for extended periods throughout the shift
- Must be able to reach with arms outstretched or overhead
- Must be available for on-call schedule between five and six days per week
- Must be available for Monday – Saturday Inspections
- Must be available for Sunday Inspections (evenly spaced rounds between 7:00 AM and 11:00 PM, one round after midnight, or minimum of 3 rounds after closing depending on property status)
