Job Summary

Oversee the entire operation of the Senior Activity Center, including budgeting, risk management, and compliance with HUD, Tax Credit, and City of Los Angeles regulations. Supervise Assistant Administrator, Department Heads, and staff while managing hiring, performance evaluations, and disciplinary matters. Coordinate maintenance vendors, handle resident complaints, and ensure property safety through inspections, fire drills, and OSHA documentation. Prepare quarterly Board Reports, manage purchase orders, and maintain accurate regulatory records for audits. This full-time, exempt role reports directly to the Regional Manager with a salary range of $81,120–$85,280 annually.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 3+ years of experience in property management
  • 3-5 years of progressive leadership or supervisory experience managing teams in a professional environment
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings, as needed
  • Must pass all pre-employment screening requirements, including reference verification
  • Must be able to sit, stand, walk, and perform tasks requiring manual dexterity and visual acuity
  • Must be able to lift up to 25

Desired Qualifications

  • experience in property management, business administration, or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience in property management, preferably in senior living, affordable housing, or multifamily housing environments
  • Experience with LIHTC, HUD, Tax Credit, and other affordable housing programs
  • Experience managing budgets, financial reporting, and property operations
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, coach, and develop employees to achieve individual and organizational goals
  • Strong experience with employee performance management, including goal setting, performance evaluations, corrective action, and recognition programs
  • Proven ability to effectively manage employee relations issues while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to manage a team and work with diverse groups of residents
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact with residents, families, staff, and external partners
  • Proficient in property management software (e.g., Yardi, RealPage) and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage complex situations and make decisions that align with company policies and resident needs
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
