Job Summary

Coordinate on-site management activities and support the Property Management team in implementing procedures, cost controls, and policies. Responsibilities include answering phones, handling tenant inquiries, processing and tracking purchase orders in Workspace, reviewing vendor contracts and certificates of insurance, assisting with service agreements, maintaining tenant files and records, issuing and tracking purchase orders and invoices, managing accounts payable/receivable and aging delinquency reports, and assisting with rent processing and charges. Must have strong interpersonal and communication skills, be computer-literate (MS Word/Excel/PowerPoint), able to work independently, and perform 100% in-office at a commercial property setting. Familiarity with MRI, Workspace, and Yardi is required, along with experience in real estate accounting and understanding of monthly accounting cycles. High school education required; associates or bachelor’s degree preferred. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required. Office duties include inventory management, vendor monitoring for contract compliance, and coordinating events and activities for tenants.

Required Qualifications

  • Must have a minimum high school education. Associates, B.A. or B.S. college degree preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years previous commercial property management experience
  • Experience with MRI, Workspace and Yardi software
  • Previous experience in real estate accounting and familiarity with monthly accounting cycle, including an understanding of A/P, A/R, commercial leases
  • Possess professional demeanor and excellent interpersonal skills
  • Have access to reliable transportation and maintain a valid driver's license
  • Computer literate and proficient on MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to work independently
  • This position is 100% in-office.
