Job Summary
Manage rent collection, cheque posting, and application of monies to tenant accounts while reviewing monthly recurring billings and monitoring tenant arrears. Prepare and issue rental charge invoices, draft tenant correspondence, and liaise with tenants and accounting regarding accounts receivable matters. Process invoices by matching and coding them to comply with budget schedules, verify batches, and compile reports within Yardi accounting software. Coordinate service contracts, track preventative maintenance requests, and ensure custodial, life-safety, and engineering services align with client directives. Maintain accurate tenant information, insurance coverage records, and security deposit reports while ensuring all site-specific documentation and financial reports are completed accurately.
Required Qualifications
- 3 + years of related Property Management experience
- post-secondary courses in property management
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both oral and written
- Knowledge of operating statements
