Job Summary
Field-based Property Adjuster Specialist in GA handling complex property insurance claims. Investigates damages, analyzes coverage, negotiates settlements, and uses Xactimate and virtual inspection tools. Works within territory in DeKalb, Gwinnett, or Hall counties; may travel for inspections, CAT deployments, and on-call duties. Requires 2 years of property claims adjusting experience, high school diploma or GED, and an adjuster license within 90 days. USAA provides a company vehicle for in-field inspections; remote/hybrid options may be available for eligible situations. Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED (or equivalent)
- 2 years of relevant property claims adjusting experience of moderate complexity
- Advanced knowledge of estimating losses using Xactimate or similar tools
- Proficient knowledge of residential construction
- Proficient knowledge of property claims contracts and interpretation of case law and state laws and regulations
- Proficient negotiation, investigation, communication, and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to travel 50-75% of the year (local & non-local) and/or work catastrophe duty when needed
- Acquisition and maintenance of insurance adjuster license within 90 days and 3 attempts
- Currently reside within or have the ability to relocate to DeKalb, Gwinnett or Hall County in GA
- US citizenship or eligible to work in the U.S. (no visa sponsorship)
