Job Summary
Field-based Property Adjuster Specialist handling complex property insurance claims within a local Dayton, OH territory. Responsibilities include investigating damages, determining coverage, negotiating settlements within authority limits, and preparing claims estimates using Xactimate and virtual inspection tools. Roles involve proactive claims management, collaboration with vendors and internal teams, SIU referrals when appropriate, and potential CAT deployment with on-call or after-hours work. Requires travel up to 50-75% of the year, strong negotiation and investigative skills, and an active adjuster license. Company vehicle provided for loss inspections; remote/hybrid flexibility may be offered for eligible spouses. Physical willingness to inspect confined spaces and climb roofs as needed.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma required.
- 2 years of relevant property claims adjusting experience of moderate complexity losses that includes writing estimates, involving dwelling and structural damages.
