Job Summary

Property Adjuster Specialist — Field role in GA focused on investigating, evaluating, negotiating, and settling complex property insurance claims. Leverages technology and virtual inspections for a desk-adjusting-first approach with a company vehicle for in-person inspections; may travel outside the local territory as needed. Requires high school diploma or GED and 2+ years of relevant claims experience; strong knowledge of Xactimate, residential construction, and applicable state laws; must obtain an active adjuster license within 90 days and be willing to travel 50-75% and perform catastrophe duties. Military spouse opportunities with remote/hybrid flexibility; no visa sponsorship offered. Duties include claims investigation, coverage determinations, SIU referrals when appropriate, complex settlement negotiations, and maintaining thorough claim-file documentation; supports regulatory coordination and collaboration with vendors and internal partners; CAT deployment may be required; may include on-call, evenings, weekends, or holidays.

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma required
  • 2 years of relevant property claims adjusting experience of moderate complexity losses
  • Advanced knowledge of estimating losses using Xactimate or similar tools
  • Proficient knowledge of residential construction
  • Proficient knowledge of property claims contracts and interpretation of state laws and regulations
  • Proficient negotiation, investigation, communication, and conflict resolution skills
  • Ability to travel 50-75% of the year (local & non-local) and/or work catastrophe duty when needed
  • Acquisition and maintenance of insurance adjuster license within 90 days and 3 attempts
  • Currently reside within or have the ability to self-relocate to DeKalb County, Gwinnett County or Hall County in GA
  • Currently hold an active Adjuster License
