Job Summary

Enter purchase orders, invoices, and vendor communications; receive and process collections while collecting past due balances from existing residents. Maintain resident files, ensure completeness and accuracy of all paperwork, and conduct move-out apartment inspections with Supervisor approval. Manage collections efforts, resolve resident complaints, and direct pertinent issues to a Supervisor. Maintain all account records and transactions including NSF's, rent allowances, concessions, rent increases, and management-approved debits and credits. Provide clerical and phone support while adhering to the Management Company's operating procedures and policies.

Required Qualifications

  • High school education or equivalent
  • Intermediate computer and Internet knowledge
  • Intermediate knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Ability to accurately perform intermediate mathematical functions
  • Ability to use all on-site resident management software functions
  • Ability to detect auditory and/or visual alarms
  • Ability to work extended/flexible hours and weekends as needed
  • Ability to regularly sit, stand, walk, talk, hear, and reach using feet, legs, back, arms and hands
  • Ability to occasionally climb
  • Ability to use close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
  • Ability to work at a personal computer and talk on the phone for extended periods of time
  • Ability to address the needs of residents, prospects, and vendors
  • Ability to handle high stress situations effectively
  • Ability to exhibit strong leadership skills

Desired Qualifications

  • Two years of experience in residential property management in the Multifamily Industry
  • Previous Bookkeeping experience
  • Knowledge of the following software programs: Yardi, Entrata, Resident Check
