Job Summary
Property Accountant to manage property-level accounting, GL, and month-end close for a portfolio of commercial properties; prepare monthly financial statements and variance reports; review leases, rent rolls, tenant ledgers, and CAM reconciliations; prepare journal entries and maintain balance sheet accuracy; assist with budgets, construction draws, and job cost tracking; review AP, cash receipts, and ownership funding and distributions; CPA or CPA candidate preferred; Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance and 3+ years of commercial property accounting experience; proficiency with Yardi or MRI; strong attention to detail and communication skills.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- 3+ years of commercial property accounting experience
- Knowledge of lease accounting and CAM reconciliations
- Experience with Yardi, MRI, or similar systems
