Job Summary

Perform full-cycle accounting activities, including analysis of accounts and transactions, while preparing and assisting with cash management, accounts payable, accounts receivable, accruals, and reconciliations. Prioritize a high-volume workload across multiple client accounts to maintain productivity and accuracy standards. Prepare comprehensive financial reporting packages ensuring compliance with internal controls, research complex accounting issues, and support internal and external audits by providing requested documentation. Collaborate with clients and property management teams to resolve issues and provide financial insights, while guiding and coaching Accountants as required.

Required Qualifications

  • One to three years of accounting experience
  • Experience performing full-cycle accounting and financial reporting activities
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a high-volume environment
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to build and maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships
  • Demonstrated capability to exercise independent judgment and professional discretion
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, reconciliations, and fixed asset accounting
  • Experience in real estate or property accounting

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience working with accounting software such as Yardi, MRI, or other real estate accounting platforms
