Job Summary
Property Accountant role focusing on day-to-day accounting for a property portfolio. Responsibilities include preparing and maintaining general ledger entries, assisting with monthly/quarterly/year-end closes, reconciling bank and balance sheet accounts, processing AP/AR, preparing financial statements for management, supporting budgeting/forecasting, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and assisting with audits and special projects. Ideal for a recent graduate or a professional with 2–3 years of accounting experience. Requires a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) and proficiency in Excel; knowledge of accounting software a plus. Strong attention to detail, ability to work independently and in a team, and effective communication to meet deadlines.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (preferred, required for new graduates) OR 2–3 years of relevant accounting experience in lieu of a degree
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with accounting software a plus
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Strong communication skills and ability to meet deadlines
