Job Summary
Property Accountant responsible for maintaining tenant leases, fixed asset/depreciation schedules, GL maintenance, reconciliations, and monthly financial statements for a growing real estate-focused client base. Responsibilities include interaction with clients regarding financials and taxes, monthly close processes, CAM and real estate tax reconciliations, annual budget input, and journal entries for acquisitions and sales. Requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and 2+ years of accounting experience; real estate industry experience and proficiency with Yardi or similar real estate accounting software are preferred.
