Job Summary
Property Accountant responsible for lease accounting under AASB16 and related financial entries (rent, outgoings, incentives) across a government services property portfolio. Role involves maintaining property cost records, providing cost visibility and reporting to internal stakeholders, assisting with rent roll preparation for Government departments, validating landlord invoices, and supporting utility invoice reviews. Will collaborate with Property and Facilities teams to interpret financial impacts, maintain property datasets in Power BI and Microsoft Fabric, and develop Power Automate flows to streamline approvals and data capture. After probation, role transitions to a hybrid arrangement (2 days WFH, 3 days in the Melbourne CBD office) with occasional site visits and flexible start/finish times within core business hours.
Required Qualifications
- Qualifications in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce
