Propane Specialist

Job Summary
Transfer, load and deliver propane products to and from containers (bulk truck, tanks, and/or cylinders) for customers. Initiate and conduct the asset verification process. Collect customer signatures/stamps and payments for deposit if necessary. Offer customer brochures with basic price lists and a contact number. Maintain a clean and organized vehicle. Leverage technology to monitor and print delivery tickets, track propane inventory and tank levels, and complete driver reports. Perform pre/post vehicle and site inspections; report mechanical issues to the Fleet Manager/Dispatcher. Conduct propane tank installations, identify and correct leaks, respond to customer emergencies, and perform tank maintenance on spare tanks. Coordinate with Dispatch for routing and scheduling, comply with state/local safety policies, and ensure safety throughout all tasks.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- CDL Class A or B
- Tanker & Hazmat Endorsement
- Clean driver’s abstract
- Up-to-date DOT medical certification
- Willingness to rotate on-call status during evenings and weekends
