Job Summary
Propane Specialist responsible for the safe and timely delivery of propane to customers; deliver, load and unload propane while providing exceptional customer service. Maintain the highest safety standards in delivery and handling of propane, conduct regular vehicle inspections and maintenance, and leverage technology to monitor inventory and generate delivery tickets. Collaborate with Dispatcher for routing, perform propane tank installations, identify and repair leaks, respond to customer emergencies, complete inspections and repairs at customer locations, and maintain equipment to safety standards. This role requires CDL with Tanker & Hazmat, DOT medical certification, on-call rotation, and legal authorization to work in the US.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of one (1) year job related (Propane) experience
- CDL Class A or B with Tanker & Hazmat
- Clean drivers abstract
- Up-to-date DOT medical certification
- Willingness to rotate “on call” status during evenings and weekends as needed
- Must be willing to work Monday through Friday during summer months and Tuesday through Saturday during winter months (November - February)
