Job Summary
Transfer, collect, load, and deliver propane products to and from containers for customers, initiating asset verification and collecting signatures or payments. Maintain equipment to safety standards by conducting pre and post vehicle inspections, reporting mechanical issues, and identifying or correcting leaks. Collaborate with the Dispatcher for routing and scheduling, notifying them immediately of any product, customer, or safety issues. Provide Propane tank installations ensuring code compliance, perform site and visual tank inspections, and respond to customer emergencies as needed. Willingness to rotate on-call status during evenings and weekends is required. This role is part of Superior Plus Propane's operations team, which emphasizes a 24/7 safety mindset and offers flexible schedules.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- CDL Class A or B
- Clean drivers abstract
- Up-to-date DOT medical certification
- Legal Authorization to work in the US
Desired Qualifications
- Minimum of one (1) year job related (Propane) experience preferred
- Tanker & Hazmat Endorsements preferred
- Willingness to rotate on call status during evenings and weekends as needed
