Job Summary
Transfer, collect, load, and deliver propane products to and from containers for customers while initiating asset verification and maintaining a clean vehicle. Monitor inventory and tank levels, record delivery tickets, and submit daily driver reports using available technology. Maintain equipment to safety standards by conducting pre and post vehicle inspections, reporting mechanical issues, and performing site and visual tank inspections. Collaborate with the Dispatcher for routing and scheduling, immediately notifying them of product, customer, or safety issues. Provide Propane tank installations ensuring code compliance, identify and correct leaks, respond to emergencies, and perform tank maintenance on spare tanks. Requires a CDL Class A or B, Hazmat endorsement, and willingness to rotate on-call status during evenings and weekends.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- CDL Class A or B
- Clean drivers abstract
- Up-to-date DOT medical certification
- Legal Authorization to work in the US
Desired Qualifications
- Minimum of one (1) year job related (Propane) experience preferred
- Tanker & Hazmat endorsements preferred
- Willingness to rotate on call status during evenings and weekends as needed
