Job Summary
Transfer, collect, load, and deliver propane product to and from containers for customers while initiating asset verification. Notify the Delivery Coordinator of route or frequency changes and conduct pre/post vehicle and site inspections to ensure regulatory compliance. Maintain equipment to safety standards, report mechanical issues, and load/unload tanks from facilities while verifying weights against lifting capacity. Install, service, and repair propane systems with direct supervision, capturing hours in your log book. Safely perform tank evacuations, hooking hoses to stationary tanks and using compressors for transfer. Prepare tanks for service by replacing valves and lids, maintaining accurate documentation. Possess a valid DZ Driver's License with two years of commercial driving experience. Submit to pre-employment drug and alcohol testing.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma
- Minimum of two (2) years of commercial driving experience
- Possess valid DZ Driver's License with a clean driver's abstract
- Ability to repetitively lift 60 lbs on a regular basis
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug and alcohol testing
- Strong customer Service skills
- Knowledge and ability to use computers, specifically on board truck computers
