Job Summary
Install, repair, and maintain propane distribution systems for retail customers while performing tank deliveries with a flatbed truck. Provide emergency response, system installation, and testing, then inspect vehicles and maintain a clean work area. Load, secure, transport, and unload propane equipment to specified destinations, preparing records in accordance with regulations. Operate vehicles using established safety procedures and deliver exceptional customer service during daily interactions. Requires on-call rotation for after-hours and weekend emergencies. Class B CDL with Tanker and Hazmat endorsements required or obtainable through internal programs.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Ideally 2 or more years of experience with installation and repair of propane-based heating systems, equipment and appliances
- Demonstrated experience troubleshooting and maintaining propane operated appliances
- Class B CDL license with Tanker and Hazmat endorsements - may be earned after being hired
- Clean driving record
- Drug screen, background, and motor vehicle record check required and pre-employment physical
