Job Summary
Deliver propane fuel to customer destinations while ensuring equipment is properly maintained and all DOT and Corporate compliance records are met. Drive locally to load, unload, and maneuver the vehicle in heavy traffic, inclement weather, or tight areas. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections, submit daily vehicle reports, and maintain logs for fuel purchases, mileage, and hours of service. Submit shipping documentation to dispatch daily and report accidents, delays, or irregularities immediately. Work flexible schedules including overtime during peak heating season.
Required Qualifications
- High School degree or GED
- Class B Driver's License with X endorsement (tanker, hazmat endorsements)
- current DOT physical examination card
- clean DMV record
- Moderate computer knowledge
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedural manuals
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondences
- Ability to graph hours of service driving logs (manual/electronic)
- Must be able to work flexible work schedules including overtime in peak heating season
- Must have Demonstrated exceptional customer service in a previous work history

- Able to work in a dynamic work schedule with varying degrees of business cycles
