Job Summary
Transfer, collect, load, and deliver propane to and from containers for customers while maintaining a clean, organized vehicle. Monitor inventory and tank levels using technology, record delivery tickets, and complete daily driver reports. Conduct pre and post vehicle inspections, site inspections, and visual tank inspections, reporting mechanical issues immediately to the Fleet Manager or Dispatcher. Collaborate with the Dispatcher for routing and scheduling, notifying them of any product, customer, or safety issues for guidance. Work full-time hours during peak heating season with opportunities for overtime, adhering to a 6-month seasonal rotation.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED
- Legal Authorization to work in the US
- Current DOT medical certification
- Ability to work overtime and on call
- 6 months on / 6 months off
- 7 months on / 5 months off
- 8 months on / 4 months off
- 9 months on / 3 months off
- Consistent, full-time hours during peak heating season
- Opportunity to return each season based on performance and business needs
- Hands-on role supporting residential and commercial propane customers
- Schedule selection will be finalized during the hiring process based on business demand and candidate preference
Desired Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year delivery driver experience preferred
- CDL Class A or B
- Tanker and Hazmat endorsement preferred
