Job Summary
Load, secure, transport, deliver, and unload propane products safely while maintaining compliance with federal, state, DOT, and company safety requirements. Perform daily vehicle inspections, document findings, and report maintenance or equipment needs promptly. Provide professional, courteous service at every customer location and work collaboratively with service and dispatch teams to support operational goals. Participate in on-call rotations, including extended or after-hours work as business needs require. Complete onboarding, safety training, and ride-alongs to learn EDP delivery routes and procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B CDL with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements
- Driving record that meets company insurance requirements
- Ability to safely lift up to 75 lbs and pull up to 125 lbs in all weather conditions
- Willingness to work on-call and outside regular hours when required
- Commitment to following safety procedures without exception
Desired Qualifications
- Previous truck driving or propane delivery experience
- Comfort using basic computer systems for logging, inspections, and documentation
- Experience working directly with residential or commercial customers
- Familiarity with DOT inspections and compliance standards
