Job Summary
Propagation Technicians perform care for cannabis plants in the Mother Room and Propagation Room, including cloning, pruning, transplanting, defoliations, burping, feeding, and progression through the Clone Care by Day SOP. They monitor for nutrient issues or infestation, maintain organized workspaces, ensure proper labeling and traceability of plants, and assist with post-harvest activities such as harvesting, post-harvest processing, trimming, and packaging. They follow SOPs and safety protocols, conduct regular plant inspections, record data daily (including IPM applications and plant scouting findings), maintain inventory accuracy, and report issues to supervisors. The role requires ability to pass a state background check, stand for 10 hours, lift 50lbs, and comply with all physical requirements with or without reasonable accommodation.
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience in cultivation or related field is preferred
- Knowledge of plant care, pest management, and cultivation techniques
- Knowledge of propagation techniques and familiarity with taking care of cannabis clones
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented environment
- Adherence to safety protocols and a commitment to maintaining a sterile work environment
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to following company guidelines and procedures
- Must be able to pass a background check as required by state regulations
- Must be able to stand on feet for 10 hours a day
- Must be able to lift 50lbs
