Job Summary
Prop Designer for Sartell Middle School Fall Musical. Work with a group of students to design, build, paint, and find props; ensure props survive use and abuse; organize props backstage, manage prop storage, and strike duties post-show; decorate the set with props and set dressings; secure and track prop items including weapons-like items; collaborate with students to create and source props; return borrowed props promptly after show closing. Schedule is based on Extracurricular/Co-Curricular assignments; final offer contingent upon an approved criminal background check and board approval. Location: Sartell Middle School. Required Qualifications
- Experience working with students
- Ability to design and construct props that withstand abuse
- Organizing prop storage and backstage organization
- Attention to safety and prop security (weapon-like props)
- Ability to decorate the set with prop-related furnishings
- Ability to collaborate with students and meet deadlines
