Proofreader - Bilingual Spanish

Hybrid Proofreader role in the Editorial team within the Quality department. Responsible for proofreading copy and content verification for client digital properties (websites, iPad apps, emails, banner ads, and RFPs) using approved assets and style guides. Responsibilities include identifying copy inconsistencies, researching and applying best practices, reporting discrepancies as part of a team, collaborating with QA and Editorial to meet deadlines, reviewing internal documentation, updating proofreading guides and decks, and ensuring brand and legal disclaimers are correct. Must have strong attention to detail, excellent communication, familiarity with Jira, basic HTML/CSS, and proficiency in Spanish (read/write/speak). 3 days per week in the Chicago Office (hybrid). Salary range 50–65K. Qualifications include college degree preferred but not required; knowledge of Chicago Manual of Style, AP, MLA; experience with Adobe Acrobat, MS Office, Google Workspace; familiarity with InDesign/Photoshop is a plus; pharma/healthcare industry experience is a plus.
