Job Summary

Support in-station and field operations across sales, promotions, and programming departments. Maintain readiness of all promotional equipment and station vehicles while developing organizational procedures for broadcast gear. Engineer and execute live remote broadcasts utilizing IP technology, ensuring high-quality feeds are transmitted from remote locations back to the central studio. Facilitate, attend, set-up, and operate a live performance studio as FOH sound engineer, serving as the go-to person for remote broadcast vans equipped with generators and pneumatic masts. Assist with setup and repair of broadcast, mobile audio, video, and transmission equipment, along with office furniture. Manage the busy off-site events schedule, executing 12–15 live broadcasts and mixes per month alongside local sports coverage. Engage the audience, promote a positive station image, and bring a great attitude to every consumer and co-worker interaction.

Required Qualifications

  • 21+ years of age
  • Must be a self-starter and be responsible to work with little to no supervision
  • Excellent communication skills both written and spoken
  • Must be able to work well in a high-pressure, on-location environment
  • Must have a valid driver's license
  • satisfactory completion of a motor vehicle record check
  • proof of insurance (if the position requires use of the applicant's own vehicle)

Desired Qualifications

  • Hands-on experience and familiarity with industry-standard production gear are highly valued
