Job Summary
Manage off-site event schedules by executing 12–15 live broadcasts and mixes monthly alongside local sports coverage while maintaining branding equipment and vehicle fleet readiness. Engineer and execute live remote broadcasts using IP technology to ensure high-quality feeds, and facilitate, attend, and operate live performance studios as a FOH sound engineer. Serve as the primary contact for remote broadcast vans equipped with generators and pneumatic masts, assisting with setup and repair of mobile audio, video, and transmission gear. Support in-station and field operations across sales, promotions, and programming departments, developing organizational procedures for broadcast equipment. Maintain a customer service-oriented attitude in a high-pressure, on-location environment with little to no supervision.
Required Qualifications
- 21+ years of age
- Must be a self-starter and be responsible to work with little to no supervision
- Excellent communication skills both written and spoken
- Must be able to work well in a high-pressure, on-location environment
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Satisfactory completion of a motor vehicle record check
- Proof of insurance (if the position requires use of the applicant's own vehicle)
Desired Qualifications
- Hands-on experience and familiarity with industry-standard production gear are highly valued
