Job Summary
Supervise Live! Casino and Hotel Philadelphia promotions and special events, managing the full life-cycle from research and planning to implementation, evaluation, and analysis. Organize on-property and off-property programs including slot and table tournaments, dinners, and tier-based promotions to drive rated play. Source and acquire vendors, maintain the annual budget, and manage a team of Coordinators and Representatives while ensuring correct staffing and performance management. Interview new hires, build relationships with department directors, and travel to off-site locations as necessary. Work a flexible, irregular schedule including weekends, evenings, and holidays in a 24/7 high-energy environment.
Required Qualifications
- A four (4)-year degree in a related field or equivalent work experience
- Two to five years' experience in promotions and special events in a high-volume hospitality business
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite applications
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid gaming license as determined by the PGCB for the position
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Ability to work varied hours/days as business dictates
- Ability to work in an environment where smoking is allowed
- Ability to be exposed to alcohol, smoke, bright lights, and noise
- Ability to walk up and down stairs to the Casino floor
- Ability to work in 24/7 high energy environment
Desired Qualifications
- Casino industry experience is desired
- Excellent computer skills - Highly proficient with MS Office products MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint
