Job Summary
Support traditional and digital advertising campaign logistics by placing ad buys, developing or proofreading copy for press releases, and providing communication support for local, regional, or national promotions. Maintain accurate files and databases for press lists and interview schedules while assisting in press event execution, including conferences, interviews, and filming permissions. Coordinate outside film crews and broadcasters, distribute promotional kits to artist teams, and track material usage. Manage the Festival press application process, review credentials, and coordinate press tent operations during the event. Facilitate artist and staff interviews, respond to inbound media requests, and enforce media guidelines at the photo pit. This seasonal role requires availability for extended on-site hours during the Festival, including weekends and evenings.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in public relations, media, journalism, or communications
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure
- Availability to work extended hours on-site during the Festival, including weekends and evenings
Desired Qualifications
- Experience supporting press/media at events, preferably in music, live entertainment, or festivals
- Familiarity with social media platforms
- Experience with data analytics
- Working knowledge of Google Sheets, Excel and graphic design software
