Job Summary
The Promotions Manager is tasked with guiding teams in planning and executing revenue-driving initiatives to enhance district and venue sales and profitability. Responsibilities include collaborating with management to devise strategies, overseeing promotional events, negotiating rates for VIP tables and promotional offerings, and hosting various social events to strengthen client relationships. The role demands excellent communication skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and a strong understanding of marketing strategies, particularly in social media. Candidates should be highly organized, reliable, and adept at working under pressure.
Required Qualifications
- 1-3 years of experience in a hospitality or hotel sales and marketing setting or equivalent
- Superior interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Highly organized and reliable
- Ability to work well under deadlines and perform multiple tasks effectively
- Ability to travel for workshops, tradeshows, conventions, etc.
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and/or holidays
Desired Qualifications
