Job Summary
Formulate campaign strategies and planning based on user analysis, forecasting effectiveness and managing actual results. Monitor campaign outcomes and cost-effectiveness while directing creative production for ad copy, design, and video content. Execute performance-based advertising campaigns across Google Display and Meta platforms, developing user journey plans and leading internal and external stakeholders. Ensure all promotions comply with legal regulations and internal company standards. Drive short-term and long-term sales growth for Rakuten Ichiba by leveraging diverse user behavior data to create new value.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in planning, proposing, and executing marketing initiatives
- Experience in formulating and implementing feasible ideas based on facts and data
- Experience in engaging internal and external stakeholders to lead projects to success
- A strong will to achieve goals and the perseverance to continue challenging until results are obtained
- Ability to generate ideas from new perspectives and approaches, unconstrained by existing frameworks
- TOEIC score of 800 or higher (or proof of equivalent English proficiency, or proof of a graduate degree or higher from an English-speaking university)
Desired Qualifications
- Basic quantitative analysis skills (e.g., interpreting data, identifying trends, measuring the effectiveness of initiatives)
- Experience in data extraction and aggregation using SQL
- Experience in creative concept design and direction
- Ability to manage progress and solve problems when multiple initiatives are running concurrently
- Experience in applying analytical and problem-solving skills to business challenges
- Continuous catch-up and knowledge update on digital marketing trends
- Project management experience
- Knowledge and practical experience in the e-commerce domain
- Experience in programmatic advertising
- Work experience at an advertising agency
