Job Summary
Garage Door Technician at ProLift will travel in a company truck to customers’ homes across the Allen, TX area to diagnose issues, present repair or replacement quotes, and perform repairs on garage doors and openers. Responsibilities include repairing and troubleshooting various doors and openers, selecting safe and effective solutions, maintaining equipment and vehicle inventory, managing scheduling and client communications, utilizing Service Titan for estimates and invoicing, and supporting local marketing efforts. The role requires 3+ years of relevant experience, mechanical aptitude with hand and power tools, and strong customer service and organizational skills. The position offers salary plus commissions/bonuses, paid onboarding, a company vehicle and gas card, provided repair tools, and ongoing training and mentorship within a supportive, small-business environment.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience repairing and installing residential garage doors/motors
- Mechanical aptitude with hand and power tools
- Sales and customer service experience preferred
- Operational or inventory management experience preferred
- Previous team management and/or training experience preferred
- Desire to grow a business
- Excellent organization and communication skills
- Team-oriented and receptive to feedback
