Job Summary
Lead planning and consulting for national and international projects in rail-based public transport, focusing on feasibility studies, budget control, and stakeholder presentations. Manage project personnel and support new project acquisitions while delivering results to internal teams and the public. Apply expertise in infrastructure, operations, and economic viability using specialized software like GIS and VISUM. This role begins at the Ramboll Light Rail Competence Centre Karlsruhe, contributing to new builds and system renewals across Europe. The position offers flexible hybrid work arrangements and extensive development opportunities within a flat-hierarchy team focused on sustainable mobility solutions.
Required Qualifications
- einfach abgeschlossenes einschlägiges Studium mit verkehrswissenschaftlichem Hintergrund
- mindestens 5 Jahre Projekterfahrungen in der Planung von ÖPNV-Projekten
- Berufserfahrung in der Planung von Machbarkeitsstudien im ÖPNV oder in der Wirtschaftlichkeit von ÖPNV-Systemen
- Erfolgreich abgeschlossenes Studium im Ingenieur- oder Wirtschaftswesen bzw. Geografie
- Sehr gute Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift
- Strukturierte Herangehensweise im Projekt- bzw. Angebotsmanagement
- Eigeninitiative und Motivation
- Zuverlässige, lösungsorientierte und systematische Arbeitsweise
- Unbefristete Anstellung ggf. auch in Teilzeit
- Flexible Arbeitszeiten und Arbeitsorte
- Hybrides Arbeiten: 2-3 Tage mobiles Arbeiten pro Woche
Desired Qualifications
- Erfahrungen in einem Schnittstellenthema Infrastruktur, Betrieb, Nachfrage oder Wirtschaftlichkeit
- Erfahrungen mit einschlägigen Softwaresystemen (z.B. GIS, VISUM, CAD, PowerBI, Python)
- Budget-Management-Fähigkeiten
- Hohe Flexibilität der eigenen Arbeitsorganisation und Arbeitszeitgestaltung sowie die Möglichkeit zum Homeoffice
