ProjectWorks Sales & Design Analyst

Job Summary
Review submitted project requests, participate in initial design calls, and support writing specifications. Collaborate with internal and external teams to scope project requests across all construction phases and manage the ProjectWorks request queue in Salesforce. Provide pre-construction support to contractors, recommend products based on cost and specifications, and ensure accurate drawing package documents are delivered to customers. Act as the point of contact between customers and various departments during the design and bid phases, while tracking and reporting monthly metrics. Work 9am–6pm Eastern to cover West Coast hours, with an expectation of in-office presence for 60% of the week.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or relevant construction industry experience
- 3+ years' experience (Grade 8)
- 5+ years' experience (Grade 9)
- 7+ years' experience (Grade 10)
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Proficiency with standard MS Office software
- Superior organizational & communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines
- Strong analytical skills
- Knowledge SFDC
- Project management work experience
- Construction industry experience
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Ability to make product solution recommendations with minor supervision
- Ability to make product recommendations without supervision
- Ability to work directly with Architects toward proper design considerations
- Ability to work with ISS/ISSM team to make recommendations to Contractors during Pre-Construction support
- Increased knowledge of all AWI product offerings
- High comfort level with customer facing
- Ability to lead sales efforts for ProjectWorks
- Minimum expectation for employees is to be in the office three days or 60% of their work week
- 6-foot social distancing and a face mask is required if an employee is not fully vaccinated

- Familiar with estimating, reading blueprints and understanding the construction process preferred
- Armstrong Product Knowledge across all business units preferred
- Proven experience in a customer-facing role that includes influencing sales preferred
- Multicultural experience and bilingual skills are desired
