Job Summary
Manage on-site work packages during the development stage, creating PCI information and ensuring safe delivery aligned with ABP's Zero Harm policy. Prepare technical drawings using AutoCAD and SolidWorks, while accurately executing land surveying tasks via GPS technology. Assist in compiling contractual documents using ICC and NEC conditions, including preparing schedules of prices and specifications. Review deliverables from consultants and contractors to ensure robust technical approaches and scope adherence. Monitor contractor health and safety performance and verify project compliance with statutory requirements and Project Management Procedures. This role involves hands-on civil engineering responsibilities within the Humber region, supporting project teams delivering up to £20m value.
Required Qualifications
- HNC Building, Civil Engineering or Construction
- NEBOSH construction certificate
- An awareness of H&S and Environmental considerations for Engineering projects
- PC Literate with experience in Word and Excel
- Good communication skills and team working skills
- Hands on approach with a key focus on critical deliverables
- Practical experience of aligning to UK CDM Regulations
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
- Must be available for weekend shifts

Desired Qualifications
- Ideally qualified to degree level
- Ideally you'll come from a hands-on civil engineering environment working as a Site Manager, Site Engineer or setting out engineer
