Job Summary
Manages engineering and maintenance operations for a hotel/property, including upkeep of the physical plant, grounds, equipment (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, life safety systems), and ensuring safety, security, and asset protection. Oversees budgeting and capital expenditure projects, preventative maintenance programs, energy conservation, and regulatory compliance. Leads the property’s emergency response team and supervises Engineering staff to deliver reliable, guest-focused facilities operations and service excellence.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED; 4 years experience in the engineering and maintenance or related professional area; technical training in HVAC-R/electrical/plumbing
- 2-year degree from an accredited university in Building and Construction, Engineering, Mechanics, or related major; 2 years experience in the engineering and maintenance or related professional area; technical training in HVAC-R/electrical/plumbing
