Job Summary
Mid-senior associate lawyer to join the Projects practice in Singapore. You will work on cross-border transactions across sectors including power and renewables, energy transition, low-carbon fuels, battery minerals and metals supply chains, and digital assets such as towers, subsea cables, and data centres. The role emphasizes drafting and negotiating project documents in limited recourse finance infrastructure projects, developing strategies, understanding commercial aspects of project-financed infrastructure, and providing practical, business-oriented advice to international clients. Strong drafting, due diligence, and the ability to handle complex, multi-jurisdictional transactions are essential, with international experience and a forward-thinking, collaborative approach highly valued. Mandarin or other Asian language skills would be beneficial.
Required Qualifications
- Qualified in Singapore, England & Wales or an equivalent common-law jurisdiction
- 5 to 6 years UK equivalent PQE
- Experience drafting and negotiating project documents in limited recourse finance infrastructure projects
- Experience with power/renewables, energy, utilities and infrastructure projects
- Knowledge of project finance documentation and standard forms (FIDIC) would be ideal
- Strong drafting skills and ability to prepare due diligence reports
- Ability to manage complex, multi-jurisdictional transactions and deliver client-focused advice
- International experience and a collaborative team mindset
- Mandarin or other Asian language skills would be beneficial
