Job Summary
Lead IT and OT infrastructure and development projects from initiation through delivery, managing scope, planning, risks, issues, dependencies, and deliverables. Coordinate effectively with IT, OT, and other project stakeholders while applying structured project management methodologies and best practices. Lead or contribute to IT-OT due diligence studies and support infrastructure transformation and migration initiatives, including VMware-related projects. Ensure effective project reporting, documentation, and communication within the applicable public procurement and governance framework. This full-time, on-site role in Mechelen requires Dutch at CEFR C2 level and reports to the Manager ICT Infrastructure & Operations.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years of proven experience as a Project Leader in infrastructure or development projects
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Project Manager within IT and OT infrastructure projects
- Proven experience in the public transport sector
- Proven experience with IT-OT due diligence studies
- Strong knowledge and practical application of project management methodologies such as PRINCE2, PMBOK or equivalent
- Ability to provide expert knowledge transfer regarding project management methodologies
- Dutch at CEFR C2 level
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with Belgian public procurement legislation
- Strong experience with project management techniques, including risk management and issue management
- Experience with VMware migration projects
- Knowledge and practical experience with ITIL
- Knowledge of MS Project and MS Office, particularly PowerPoint and Excel
- Relevant project management certification such as PRINCE2, PMP/PMBOK or equivalent
