Job Summary
Plan and deliver offshore inspection projects, including subsea 3D modelling and mooring integrity surveys. Prepare documentation such as method statements, risk assessments, and technical reports. Select, test, and calibrate inspection equipment to ensure operational readiness. Travel offshore to operate systems, troubleshoot issues, and acquire data while carrying out QA/QC. Produce high-quality reports and 3D models to support client decision-making. Build client relationships through project meetings and provide technical support throughout delivery. Manage equipment demobilisation, post-project testing, and defect reporting. Maintain compliance with HSEQ standards while supporting business development activities and training initiatives. This hybrid role requires approximately 100 days offshore annually and involves working with Ashtead Technology's global fleet of subsea equipment rental solutions.
Required Qualifications
- HND or above (or equivalent) in Survey Engineering, Electronics, Mechatronics or related discipline
- Ability and willingness to undertake approximately 100 days offshore per year globally
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience in offshore, survey, inspection or ROV operations
- Knowledge of mooring systems and inspection techniques
- Hands-on competence with electronic, electrical or mechanical systems used in subsea environments
- 3D modelling data capture and model generation
