Job Summary
Lead residential and commercial restoration projects from initial setup through completion, organizing crews, equipment, and daily jobsite activities. Perform and supervise water mitigation, structural drying, demolition, cleaning, fire and smoke restoration, mold remediation, odor control, and contents handling while monitoring progress and adjusting work plans. Serve as the primary on-site representative, communicating professionally with customers, insurance professionals, and subcontractors to explain processes and address concerns. Complete accurate job documentation, including photos, moisture readings, and daily monitoring notes using mobile devices. Train, coach, and mentor technicians, assigning tasks and holding team members accountable for safety, quality, and productivity. Maintain company vehicles and equipment, ensuring proper setup, operation, and clean organization of the warehouse. Participate in an on-call rotation for emergency losses, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
- Ability to reliably report to assigned jobsites throughout the service area
- Ability to use a smartphone or tablet for job documentation
- Ability to communicate professionally with customers and coworkers
- Ability to lift and carry at least 50 lbs
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb, and perform physical restoration work for extended periods
- Ability to work in residential and commercial environments affected by water, fire, smoke, mold, debris, and other property-loss conditions
- Ability to properly use PPE and follow company safety procedures
- Ability to participate in an on-call rotation, including occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays when emergency losses occur
- 2+ years of restoration, mitigation, construction, remediation, or related field experience
- Previous experience leading technicians or crews
- Experience with water mitigation and structural drying
- Familiarity with insurance restoration and proper job documentation
- WRT – Water Damage Restoration Technician certification
- ASD – Applied Structural Drying certification
- AMRT – Applied Microbial Remediation Technician certification
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with fire/smoke, mold remediation, contents, demolition, or biohazard services
- Additional IICRC certifications
- IICRC certifications (general)
- Experience with fire/smoke, mold remediation, contents, demolition, or biohazard services is a plus
- Familiarity with insurance restoration and proper job documentation is a plus
- Additional IICRC certifications are a plus
