Job Summary
Lead residential and commercial restoration projects from initial setup through completion, organizing crews, equipment, and daily jobsite activities. Perform and supervise water mitigation, structural drying, demolition, cleaning, fire and smoke restoration, mold remediation, odor control, and contents handling while monitoring progress and adjusting work plans as conditions change. Serve as the primary on-site representative, communicating professionally with customers, insurance professionals, and subcontractors to explain processes, provide updates, and address concerns. Train, coach, and mentor technicians; assign tasks; and hold team members accountable for safety, quality, and documentation. Complete job documentation accurately, take photos, record moisture readings, and maintain files using mobile devices. Maintain company equipment and vehicles, ensuring they are clean, organized, and properly accounted for. Participate in an on-call rotation for emergency losses, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
- Ability to reliably report to assigned jobsites throughout the service area
- Ability to use a smartphone or tablet for job documentation
- Ability to communicate professionally with customers and coworkers
- Ability to lift and carry at least 50 lbs
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb, and perform physical restoration work for extended periods
- Ability to work in residential and commercial environments affected by water, fire, smoke, mold, debris, and other property-loss conditions
- Ability to properly use PPE and follow company safety procedures
- Ability to participate in an on-call rotation, including occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays when emergency losses occur
- 2+ years of restoration, mitigation, construction, remediation, or related field experience
- Previous experience leading technicians or crews
- Experience with water mitigation and structural drying
- IICRC certifications
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with fire/smoke, mold remediation, contents, demolition, or biohazard services
- Familiarity with insurance restoration and proper job documentation
- WRT – Water Damage Restoration Technician certification
- ASD – Applied Structural Drying certification
- AMRT – Applied Microbial Remediation Technician certification
- Additional IICRC certifications
- Experience, dependable, customer-focused, and ready to lead from the front
