Job Summary
Coordinate and direct survey crews and office staff to ensure projects are completed accurately, on time, and within budget. Perform and review boundary and Right of Way (ROW) calculations, develop scopes, budgets, and fees, and oversee technical aspects of assigned projects. Assist department managers with submittals, RFIs, and deliverables while maintaining client communication and providing regular progress updates. Direct, mentor, and evaluate team members, assist in converting leads into business, and represent the company at public meetings. Ensure all work adheres to company QA/QC procedures, federal, state, and local regulations. Requires a Bachelor's degree, ten years of experience, and a valid Professional Surveyor's License in OH, PA, WV, NY, OK, NC, or FL. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- Minimum of ten (10) years' job-related experience
- boundary and ROW resolution experience
- Valid Professional Surveyor's License in OH, PA, WV, NY, OK, NC, and FL
- ability to obtain additional licenses across the United States
- valid Driver's License
Desired Qualifications
- advanced knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D, MicroStation, ORD, and/or similar Surveying software
- experience with Terrestrial LiDAR and UAV
- Demonstrates a strong desire to expand knowledge and take on new responsibilities within the field
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Power Point, Outlook)
- Excellent organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks and meet project deadlines effectively
- Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a project team
