Job Summary
Organize field schedules, prepare worksheets and points, and manage field personnel by collaborating with Project Managers and Engineers to understand survey requirements. Perform complex survey work including boundary, topographic, and ALTA/title surveys while reading construction plans, plats, and worksheets. Maintain records of office documents and final surveys, create legal descriptions in multiple states, and operate equipment such as robotic total stations and GPS data collectors. Take an active approach to as-built documents working with reviewers and contractors. Stay updated on industry advancements and regulations. Requires a driver's license, ability to travel to field sites, and physical stamina for uneven terrain and weather conditions.
Required Qualifications
- Proficiency in surveying field software
- Hands-on experience with surveying instruments and equipment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail, and ability to work independently
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with relevant regulations and standards governing survey practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Driver's License required

- Ability to work for extended periods at a computer and perform detailed technical work
- Ability to travel to and work at field sites as required
- Ability to walk, stand, bend, and perform fieldwork across uneven terrain and construction sites
- Ability to lift and carry survey equipment and materials weighing up to approximately 50 pounds
- Ability to operate survey instruments and related technology
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
