Project Surveyor

Job Summary
Conduct boundary, ALTA, topographic, and construction layout surveys, leading field crews and managing equipment on-site. Perform office survey field-to-finish procedures, organize data into deliverables, and submit edited results for client delivery. Lead client communication, resolve field challenges, and ensure adherence to safety protocols and PPE standards. Maintain company vehicles and operate data collectors while prioritizing accuracy and compliance. Requires valid driver's license, 2-year degree with 3-5 years of surveying experience, and proficiency in Carlson and CAD software. Full-time regular role at Feldman Geospatial branch location.
Required Qualifications
- 2-year degree and 3-5 year of related surveying experience or 5-7 years of related surveying experience
- Valid driver's license with a satisfactory record
- Strong technical knowledge of survey or construction principles, including ALTA, boundary, topographic, and construction layout
- Proficiency with data collectors and performing onsite calculations
- Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Ability to manage and prioritize tasks effectively across multiple projects
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to write clear and detailed field notes
- Proven proficiency in Carlson, CAD software, Microsoft Word, Excel and other Microsoft applications
- Must be able to lift approx. 50 pounds
- Must be eligible to work in the United States
