Job Summary
Advisory Intern responsibilities include developing standard documents to support future proposal development and presentations, updating Project Experience Pages to match corporate standards, participating in at least one actual proposal development process, comparing Project Experience Pages against new standards to identify information gaps, researching and interviewing team members to gather required data/stories, and collaborating with project managers to turn quantitative and qualitative data into readable Project Experience Page content (including copy and graphics). The role also involves marketing copy development, weekly progress tracking via meetings and written updates, graphic support for other projects, and supporting a hybrid in-person schedule in Indianapolis. The internship is aligned with hours toward the NCARB Architectural Experience Program (AXP).
Required Qualifications
- Pursuing or completed a Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Construction Management, or an Engineering discipline such as Structural, Civil, Electrical, MEP etc.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office - Advanced skills preferred, especially in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- 0-4 years experience with engineering or construction firms, or a construction claim/dispute firm.
- Excellent communication, mathematical and organizational skills
- Strong investigating, problem solving, and analytical skills
- Familiarity with marketing computer software and online applications (e.g., Adobe, InDesign, Word, Etc.)
- Willingness to seek and understand data/information/stories and turn them into content for use in marketing materials.
- Ability to find creative ways to tell an overall project story in a one-page format.
- Must be able to work in person in our Indianapolis, IN office on a hybrid schedule.
