Job Summary
Coordinate programme outputs, outcomes, and quality levels for the Cheshire & Merseyside Change and Integration Programme by developing project management monitoring systems and maintaining information flows. Support governance structures by collating agenda papers, logging actions, and chasing progress on follow-up items while identifying task slippage with Programme and Project Managers. Deliver standard and customised reports from the project management system, process expenditure requests, and provide first-line resolution for software issues. Facilitate stakeholder workshops, conduct reviews, and deliver training on the project lifecycle. Maintain collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure adherence to PMO requirements throughout the project life cycle.
Required Qualifications
- NVQ level 3 minimum or equivalent in relevant field
- Ability to use processes and tools to capture progress against project plans and manage information flows
- High proficiency in MS Office applications including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and project management tools such as MS project, including excellent keyboard skills
- An ability to access reference material and information as required
- Highly developed interpersonal skills with the ability to deal appropriately with a wide range of contacts often at senior level
- Ability to communicate effectively in writing and orally
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and operate with discretion and integrity, recognising the commercial and sensitivity of some initiatives
- Excellent planning and organisation skills
- Capable of working to and meeting multiple deadlines in a challenging and dynamic environment with a high level of autonomy, using own initiative
- Experience of providing effective and efficient project support in a complex and high paced organisation
- Data protection, working with sensitive data and information sharing protocols
- Excellent numeracy, literary, IT and communication skills
- Competent in Microsoft word packages; PowerPoint, Excel, Publisher, Outlook
Desired Qualifications
- Degree level qualifications, for example IT
- Other training relating to business admin, finance, information systems, social media
- Working within adults and /or childrens services areas
- Experience of project management
- Experience of providing effective programme and project assurance
- Experience of supporting projects or programmes within a PMO
- Project management qualification e.g., PRINCE2
