Job Summary
Lead end-to-end supply chain for Hitachi Energy's project portfolio, developing and implementing project-specific supply chain strategies that align with company objectives and project timelines. Manage supplier selection, negotiation, and contract management for project-related materials, equipment, and services; monitor supplier performance and address deviations to ensure on-time delivery and quality. Collaborate with project managers, engineering, procurement, and logistics teams to forecast material needs and optimize inventory. Identify and mitigate supply chain risks, including delays, cost overruns, and quality issues; optimize logistics for efficient material flow to project sites. Ensure regulatory compliance and ethical sourcing; generate regular reports on performance, cost savings, and risk mitigation. Lead and mentor a team of supply chain professionals, fostering continuous improvement and cross-functional collaboration.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field
- Master's degree preferred
- Proven years of experience in supply chain management, with at least 3 years in a project-oriented environment
- Proficiency in supply chain management software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP)
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership abilities
